The Isle of Raasay Distillery takes inspiration from Raasay's stunning geological diversity, its unique water source and island coastline. A fusion of tradition with contemporary thinking, craft and design. Only the finest Raasay juniper on the island, is handpicked with the help of local botanist Dr Stephen Bungard. A perfect balance of flavours is created by distilling and evaporating the juniper with a few selected botanicals to preserve their vibrancy. Botanicals: Raasay juniper, sweet orange peel, lemon peel, rhubarb, angelica root, coriander seed, liquorice, orris root, cubeb pepper. Tasting notes:Colour: Clear. Nose: Fresh, juniper, sweet oranges, candied lemons, hints of rhubarb. Taste: Dry, intense juniper, rhubarb, citrus flavors. Finish: Long lasting, dry, juicy. Perfect for G&T and many other long drinks.
