The Floki Icelandic Single Malt is named after the discoverer of Iceland Hrafna-Flóki (Floki of the ravens). In addition to the two standard bottlings, the Eimverk distillery also produces various cask finish bottlings. This whiskey matures in American oak barrels and gets an extraordinary finish in barrels in which previously Icelandic beer was stored. Tasting notes:Colour: Mahogany. Nose: Malty, notes of fruity lemons, fine vanilla, strong spices. Taste: Spicy-fruity, notes of honey, beer, vanilla, oak. Finish: Long lasting.
