The Floki Icelandic Single Malt is named after the discoverer of Iceland Hrafna-Flóki (Floki of the ravens).
In addition to the two standard fillings, Eimverk Distillery also produces various barrel finish fillings.
This whisky matures in American oak casks and gets a distinctive finish in birch wood casks.
Each of these bottlings is individually numbered and signed by the distiller.
Nose: fresh, sweet-spicy.
Taste: Floral, apple blossom, heather, notes of honey, caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg.
Finish: Long lasting, birch aromas, hints of caramel.
