The Scallywag Douglas Laing Chocolate Edition is released just in time for World Chocolate Day. The name Scallywag also means "little rascal". The blending of Speysinde Single Cask Malts is done 100% in sherry casks, which gives the whiskey its unique flavor. Each of the selected barrels was handpicked, especially important here were the cocoa flavors. This malt is a limited edition of the series Remarkable Regional Malts by Douglas Laing. Limited to 3,600 bottles. Tasting notes:Color: Amber. Nose: Sweet, chocolate, red fruits. Taste: Fruity, creamy chocolate glaze, dates, red fruits. Finish: Long lasting, chocolate.
