Douglas Laing's Old Particular range consists of individually selected malts from all over Scotland, produced to the highest quality standards. These malts are neither cold-filtered nor color-added and are unique with their single cask bottlings. This single malt Scotch whisky matured for 14 years in a refill hogshead with cask number #DL15642, which gave it its excellent, natural character. The production took place without chill filtration as well as without the addition of dyes. Distilled: February 2008 Bottled: March 2022 Limited to 355 bottles worldwide. Tasting notes:Color: saffron. Nose: Creamy, notes of jam, vanilla notes. Palate: Creamy, fruity notes of jam, oatmeal cookies, custard. Finish: Long lasting, full-bodied.
