The Dos Maderas PX 5+5 Years Old is made from different rums from molasses. The rums for Dos Maderas come from Barbados and Guyana. The rum matures in American sherry casks in the Caribbean for the first five years, until it is shipped to Europe, Spain, at the end of that time. Once in Spain, it is transferred to oak barrels, where it is stored for the next and final five years. The producer describes it as a rum for special moments.
