Don Papa, one of the lesser known heroes of the Philippine Revolution. A foreman on a sugar cane plantation, he joined the fight for his country's independence. He became the leader of his countrymen in expelling the conquerors from his beloved land. Don Papa Baroko comes from the island of Negros in the Philippine archipelago. This extraordinary spirit honors the heroes of the revolution. It is refined from high quality sugar cane grown on extremely fertile volcanic soils and then aged in oak barrels. For Baroko, only the best and most valuable barrels are selected from the warehouse to best bring out the fruit and especially vanilla flavors in this limited edition.
