In 1889, the Rum Company Basel was founded by a Swiss travelling salesman in Kingston. A powerful, spicy Jamaican rum, distilled from fermented sugar cane molasses, stored and matured in oak barrels under the tropical sun in Jamaica. Very rich in aroma and overproof with over 70% vol. Tasting notes:Colour: Dark amber. Nose: Strong, slightly sweet, notes of coffee, dried fruit, exotic spices. Taste: Fiery, very strong, notes of wood flavors, cocoa, coffee, nuts.
