Cognac Leyrat X.O. Hors D'Âge Single Estate Cognac 40% Vol. 0,7l in Giftbox

The Domaines Francis Abécassis distillery is located in Claix, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. Cognac has been recognized there as a single estate since the late 1990s. The distillery owns a vineyard of 280 hectares located in the Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne and Fins Bois regions. The Leyrat brand is produced by Domaines Francis Abécassis. In the case of the Cognac Leyrat X.O.. Hors D'Âge Single Estate Cognac, exclusive eaux-de-vie from the Fins Bois region are blended. This cognac is aged for at least 30 years. Some included eaux-de-vie are 40, 50 or 100 years old. The Cognac ages for 6 to 12 months in Limousin oak barrels. It is then aged for another 4 to 12 years in slightly older barrels. Finally, it is transferred to an old wooden barrel.
